PostHeaderIcon Church Beliefs

What do Seventh-day Adventists Believe?

Seventh-day Adventists accept the Bible as their only creed and hold certain fundamental beliefs to be the teaching of the Holy Scriptures. These beliefs, as set forth here, constitute the church's understanding and expression of the teaching of Scripture. Revision of these statements may be expected at a General Conference session when the church is led by the Holy Spirit to a fuller understanding of Bible truth or finds better language in which to express the teachings of God's Holy Word.

1. The Holy Scriptures:

The Holy Scriptures, Old and New Testaments, are the written Word of God, given by divine inspiration through holy men of God who spoke and wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. In this Word, God has committed to man the knowledge necessary for salvation. The Holy Scriptures are the infallible revelation of His will. They are the standard of character, the test of experience, the authoritative revealer of doctrines, and the trustworthy record of God's acts in history. (2 Peter 1:20, 21; 2 Tim. 3:16, 17; Ps. 119:105; Prov. 30:5, 6; Isa. 8:20; John 17:17; 1 Thess. 2:13; Heb. 4:12.)

PostHeaderIcon Message For You

I know You

I know your deeds, your love and faith, your service and perseverance, and that you are now doing more than you did at first.(Revelation 2:19) We are being watched. Have you noticed all the cameras in the train stations? There are cameras in almost all stairways. There are cameras on the platforms. There are cameras by the ticket gates. There are cameras in most ATM boots. I wander if there is anybody monitoring all those cameras?Have you ever realized that you are being watched?

There are beings that see your every move. On top of it all, there is One who sees, hears, and feels your thoughts... Now don’t get scared. That’s not a bad thing. Because the One who sees, hears, and feels your thoughts is not your enemy. He does not want to catch you doing the wrong thing. He is actually looking for opportunities to bless you. He is waiting for that moment when you will call on Him. He is trying to direct your life in a better, upward way. He loves you so very much and is always trying to get you out of trouble and into triumph. Next time you see a surveillance camera, remember that your Father is watching over you. Talk to Him. Ask Him to bless you and help you. He will love to do that.May God bless you today,Andy R. Espinoza Tokyo International Church on Facebook
